What's a Widget? 

Embedding a Widget Social Bookmarking

Widgets have been described as the next big thing after video. Think of them as portable pieces of a website. You can easily grab widget content from a site and add them to your website, blog, MySpace, and other pages to help gain exposure for an important issue or campaign. 

Edge Driven widgets have 3 main functions:

Send: Email to a friend.

Bookmark: Add to social bookmark sites such as Digg or del.icio.us, or add a link to your "Posted Items" on Facebook.

Embed: Generates codes to paste into a site's html to add the widget to any site.

These portable mini-webpages make it easy for a campaign to spread virally across the web to reach new users.
